PTI Presented this Webinar Wednesday, February 12, 2014

PTI Staff Contact:  Dale Bowen, Deputy Executive Director for Program Development, 202-626-2456.

The City of Cincinnati in partnership with Hamilton County, Ohio and the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) has developed the RAVEN911 Mapping System (Mobile). This system provides Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana, and Northern Kentucky emergency personnel with desktop and mobile mapping capabilities to facilitate more efficient and effective emergency/disaster planning, response and recovery.

During this webinar, attendees will got opportunity to experience how RAVEN911 enables emergency personnel; firefighters, emergency medical services, law enforcement, hazardous materials response teams, bomb squads, local emergency management, 911 communications, hospital and health department personnel, to interact with an Internet based mapping tool in austere (emergency) environments.

Operationally, RAVEN911 has been utilized for the purposes of strategic planning, special events management and emergency response.

RAVEN911 was named a PTI Innovation Lab in 2013.
