Steve Foute, Strategic Advisor

Steve FouteDr. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) most recently was Deputy Manager of the Department of Environmental Health for the City and County of Denver. He now consults for a number of entities including PTI, the City and County of Denver and others.

Steve continues to be an outstanding leader of PTI’s Sustainability Council as an advocate for environmental and energy issues at the local level.

In 2006, the Council nominated him as its national spokesperson in energy assurance and critical infrastructure protection funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. Steve also assisted with the production of the Energy Assurance Guidelines for Local Governments with PTI’s Ronda Mosley.

Mr. Foute has won several awards including the U.S. Department of Energy’s Innovation Award, Colorado Governor’s Energy Conservation Award and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers Author’s Award. He is a Master Gardener in Pueblo County, Colorado.

He received his doctorate in Environmental Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and has served as adjunct professor at the University of Colorado’s School of Architecture and Planning.
