PTI and the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) presented this webinar June 16, 2010.

Four-day work schedules have become one cost-effective tool that serves employees during these challenging times and helps cities and maintain or improve access to services.

Officials from the State of Utah, the first state to implement a four-day work week, highlighted what they have learned since their program started in 2008. The City of Mesa pilot-tested a four-day work week in 2009 and implemented its program in 2010.

The webinar addressed each government’s strategy and its effect on energy savings, employee morale, productivity and service delivery.
