City and county travel and training budgets are being cut, and in many cases eliminated. During today’s climate of “do more with less,” local government executives and technology practitioners, perhaps now more than ever, need access to educational programming via their desktop.

GoGovTV meets that need! GoGovTV is the online technology education and training series for local governments.

Approximately once a week, PTI and its partner organizations offer webinars (online seminars) and discussion forums that promote sharing of leading management practices and professional development opportunities.

Webinars may be offered at no charge or for a fee. Whether to charge is up to the organization that hosts the webinar. Organizations that host a webinar may also seek support from sponsoring companies.

Our description or registration link for each webinar will indicate the cost, if any. You’ll receive call-in information after registering for a webinar.

Look for recordings and/or copies of presentations made during webinars in Home > Webinars & Events > Past Webinars & Events.

How it Works

PTI uses the GoToWebinar service to present webinars. The presentation takes place over the web. Typically, audio is provided over a toll-number. There is the option of providing audio over the Internet.

We encourage you to bring multiple people to a webinar. Invite colleagues to view the webinar in a conference room, and project the presentation onto a wall or screen while listening via speakerphone.

System requirements for the GoToWebinar service are at this link. You must have both JavaScript and Java enabled in your browser and PC.
