How to Use the PTI Store
Most of the items in the PTI Store are PDF files for you to use with the Adobe Reader or compatible viewer software such as Foxit Reader or Apple Preview.
You need PDF viewer software on your computer in order to use the files. Unless otherwise indicated, no physical items will be shipped.
PTI members may download new PDF publications free for 30 days after the publication is released. (Recent Solutions Awards publications are free to members year-round.)
Member Discounts
Members receive a discounted price on most PTI products and services. If you select a member price, we will confirm your PTI membership when we process your order. If you are not eligible for a member price, we will decline the transaction and contact you.
How to Order
To order a publication, click the link labeled “Buy this publication with a credit card”. It appears at the end of each description.
Next, you will see the price for the publication you selected. Please select the price that applies to you.
It is unnecessary to order more than one copy of a PDF file. You may distribute the file as needed, only within your jurisdiction or organization for its official purposes. Publications not sold, but made freely available by PTI, may be distributed without restriction.
You will receive a receipt by E-mail after your transaction is complete. If you purchased a file for download, after we examine and process your order you should receive a separate message with a link to your file. Be alert for this message.
The message will explain that your file will be available for you to download for a specified time period. Please download and save the file to your computer before the period ends.
It isn’t sufficient just to view the file in your browser. Save the file to your computer, then open it in your PDF viewing application.
If you don’t understand or can’t perform this procedure, please ask your system administrator.
