Public Safety Technology Council Mission

PTI’s Public Safety Technology Council focuses on developing and applying practical approaches to the utilization of technology in the public safety arena.

It includes leadership teams associated with police, fire protection, emergency response, corrections and other public safety officials in localities across the nation.

Services

  • Online discussions. These provide a medium of interaction between members via E-mail. Queries and responses are stored in a searchable archive.
  • Meetings and seminars. The council meets at the PTI Technology Solutions & Innovations Conference, with additional featured presentations throughout the year.
  • Best practices and awards. Members contribute their successful initiatives for the benefit of other members in PTI’s publications and events, and by participating in the annual Solutions Awards that recognize outstanding technology innovations.
  • Publications available in the PTI Store such as Wireless E9-1-1: What Local Government Officials Need to Know.
