How to Use PTI Online Discussions
PTI hosts member discussions via discussions.pti.org, a Listserv system that manages these mailing lists:

Telecom Discussion List Name Change
The TELECOM-IT discussion list has been renamed to CIO-COUNCIL. The name change better reflects the list’s use by CIOs at PTI member jurisdictions.
Information on how to use PTI’s discussion lists is at this link. More material of interest to city and county CIOs is posted in the CIO topics area of this site.
If you are a list subscriber and you experience any difficulties as a result of the name change, please contact the webmaster.

How to View PTI Online Discussion Archives
Use this link to view the archives of messages posted to PTI discussion groups (mailing lists).
The archives are password-protected. To see them, you will be asked to login, and to create a password if you have not already done so.
This password is independent of your PTI website password. Changes to your Listserv password will not affect your PTI website password.
Only members of these mailing lists may view the archives. See How to Use PTI Online Discussions if you are employed at a PTI member jurisdiction and wish to join one or more of the PTI mailing lists.
After you login, the Listserv will present you with a web interface for viewing the list archives (pictured). You will not be asked to login again as long as the login "cookie" is retained on your computer. If you clear your cookies, the system will again ask you to login.
