Looking for ways to reduce rising energy costs?

The Greening of IT: Saving Green by Going Green will present IT strategies that local governments can use to reduce operating costs and overall carbon footprint.

The current energy crisis has taken a heavy toll on local governments across the nation. Local leaders are looking for ways to reduce rising energy costs. While governments have introduced energy-saving technologies in their buildings and vehicle fleets, many are now exploring what can be done in IT operations and infrastructure, paying particular attention to computer equipment and data centers.

Through presentations, facilitated discussions and best-practice demonstrations, you will learn how to implement green IT practices in your community.

This is a one-day event that will be repeated in Austin, TX and San Jose, CA.

Regular Price: $295 for government / $450 for non-government. Save $95 off these prices if you register by September 9, 2008 (use code GSLE1). Click to Register or call 800-746-0099. Additional discounts are available when registering three or more attendees from the same organization.
