Security is Top Priority for Local Government IT Executives in 2014
Alexandria, VA, January 28, 2014—Executives completing the PTI poll were given a list of ten technology priority strategies, management processes and solutions and asked to rank their priorities.
IT security, to include cyber protection, awareness and training for government staff and elected leaders was ranked number one. This was followed by IT budget and cost control and third, strategic IT planning.

EPA announces the top 25 cities with the most ENERGY STAR certified buildings
With 443 ENERGY STAR certified buildings and 102.7 million square feet of floor space Los Angeles, CA tops the EPA’s list of cities with the most ENERGY STAR certified buildings. This saved the city $132.2 million dollars each year while preventing 45,100 emissions.
